The Fuel Efficiency Calculator requires the Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 or above to operate. If you do not have it installed, the Fuel Efficiency Calculator will show you a message about requiring a framework. The .NET Framework is free to download and you can get it from here. The .NET Framework does not support Windows 95 and hence neither does the Fuel Efficiency Calculator. All newer versions of Windows (for example Windows 98, Windows 98SE, Windows 2000 and Windows XP) are supported.

Hardware:

If your computer is capable of installing the .NET Framework then there should be no problems with running the Fuel Efficiency Calculator. It requires a minimal amount of free hard drive space (around 10MB).
